JLL appoints Luke Billiau as capital markets head for Australia and New Zealand

Luke Billiau, head of capital markets for New South Wales (NSW) and head of office investments for Australia, has been promoted to head of capital markets in Australia and New Zealand at JLL. With a broad experience across various asset classes and states, client relationships and a proven track record of leadership and execution, JLL has great confidence in the future success of their Australian capital markets business.

Stuart Crow, CEO of Capital Markets, Asia Pacific, at JLL, remarks in a press release, “Luke’s diverse background gives us tremendous confidence in the future success of our Australian capital markets business.”

Billiau has been part of the JLL family since 2007, in which he held a senior director role of the Queensland capital markets team in addition to having an important role leading the state’s valuations and advisory division.

In Australia, the capital markets platform he overlooks consists of a team of 140 professionals.

Singapore has recently become one of the top three countries in the world to attract the world’s rich, alongside the UAE and Australia. Additionally, The Work Project opened their first location in Australia and Avani’s first hotel in Australia will open in the Sunshine Coast.
